Not sure about anyone else in the class but I'm new to blogging and thought this could be a really cool way to learn! We can all be guinea pigs together! Our kids will no doubt be bloggers at some stage so we may as well learn about it! They might even be impressed?
The reason I thought a blog would be better than email is that everyone can see what is going on rather than just one person. And my email inbox is close to self combusting due to its size! I mean to clean it up regularly but its a bit like cleaning my house...yeah, later!

Any thoughts of how we could use it? Some ideas I had were
- Coordinating social events
- Posting photos or videos of our gorgeous kids at special events...assembly items, sports events for working parents to view
- Keeping in touch with other mums/dads if you dont get up to the school much
- A forum for sounding out new ideas or venting our spleens about school issues (nothing personal of course)
- Posting great information sites...parenting, shopping(!!) or anything else
It all sounds a bit like show and tell!
I've set it up so anyone can add and edit their own post on the site and only people who are on our class list can access the blog. Don't want to attract any freaks out there!
I'm still navigating my way around this site and can post any tips and help that I find useful. Feel free to do the same.
